Nistha fingerprint brandmark

The fingerprint of Himalayan coffee

Our identity is rooted in origin. The mountain illustration reflects the Himalayan landscape in Nepal where this rare Arabica is grown, in a linocut-inspired style that represents craft, tradition and small-scale farming.

At the center sits a coffee bean shaped as a fingerprint. It symbolizes traceability, the hands behind every harvest and the unique origin of Himalayan Arabica.

Together, these elements express altitude, authenticity and the human touch behind our specialty coffee.

The meaning of Nistha

Nistha / निष्ठा is a Nepalese word which means devotion, honesty, and commitment. It stands for doing something with care, even when no one is watching.

These values reflect the way that we source Himalayan Arabica, processed with care and respect for our farmers and nature.

Where Nistha begins

Our coffee comes from Thuladurlung, a small village in Lalitpur, Nepal. Here, coffee is part of daily life and is grown by smallholder farmers who work closely with nature. A global study done by WWF across 61 countries ranked Nepal as the world’s most nature-connected nation.

We work together with 43 farmers from this village. Our farmers grow their coffee using organic practices, every ripe cherry gets picked by hand, then washed and dried in the sun.

From growing to processing, our farmers work together, sharing knowledge and improving each harvest as a community.

A bridge between Nepal and the world

Nistha was built to connect Nepalese coffee with the world. By working hand in hand with our farmers, we focus on long-term relationships, fair pricing and keeping more value at origin. We invest back in to our supply chain. Recently we've gifted 10 furniture pieces for the women hand sorting the beans after the hulling process.

An estimated 14% of Nepal’s population works abroad, often because local opportunities are limited. When younger generations leave (rural) communities, farming knowledge is less likely to be passed on to younger generations. A stronger market for Nepalese coffee can create local income and employment, giving more  people the opportunity to build their future in Nepal.

By sharing Nistha with the world, we want  Nepalese coffee to be recognised not just for its quality, but also for the farmers and communities behind it.
